Checking for analytics in holdings

In the holdings record, analytic information can be recorded in three places. If you see any of the forms below, stop. Please consult with BadCat about this withdrawal.

  1. Check the holdings 945: If this field contains “SLF:” + any form of “analytic” (“anal.”, “analyzed”, “anals”, etc.), stop. Please consult with BadCat about this withdrawal. This information also appears in the bib record 990.
  2. Check the holdings Check Note. If it contains any form of “Analyzed” (“ANAL”, “ANALYZED”, “analytic”, etc), stop. Please consult with BadCat about this withdrawal.
  3. Check the holdings UPI (serials only): *sfa, *sma, *sca, *ssa. (UPIs may also appear in the holdings record 945). If you encounter any of these stop. Please consult with BadCat about this withdrawal.
